She lists "Listening to people, about their lives, and their needs" as one of the best parts of working in retail. Carol says, "It's easy to sell when you're selling quality, and Mouat's Clothing Co. has that to offer. Salt Spring Island is truly a destination - enjoy".

Treva HinchliffeTREVA    Treva has been dressing women in the latest fashions for over 30 years. Her history and experience dates back to l979 when she opened her first shop, in Rossland, B. C. Her customer 's loyalty and trust prompted her to open a second shop in nearby Trail, B. C. Elaine Huser

ELAINE    Elaine sells the clothing she loves at Mouat's Clothing Co., mostly to support her shopping habit. Her favourites are clothing styles from Merrell and Columbia, and shoes from El Naturalista and Merrell. We're not exactly sure what she does with all those shoes - maybe her dogs can answer that? Twenty-Seven years ago she worked in this same location when it was a grocery store!

Marnie McAughtrie

MARNIE   As Manager/Buyer for Mouat's Clothing Co., Marnie gets to indulge her greatest passion - shopping! With a retail background dating back to 1978, she knows the ins and outs of what makes a retail store thrive, and takes great pleasure in filling two floors with the unique merchandise acquired on her many buying trips

SAYORI      Sayori's retail career began in Tokyo where she studied and worked with Mr. Shu Uemura, one of the world's leading make-up artists.  With Mr. Uermura she learned colour theory, artistic philosophy and store management.  In 2001 Sayori and her husband decided to move to Canada in search of a better quality of life.  After settling on Salt Spring Island, Sayori believes they made the right decision and says she loves being at Mouat's Clothing Co. to "help people see their happy face".
